Music narrated through the drawings of Lorenza Natarella
The live drawing project curated by Lorenza Natarella is composed by a series of four triptychs which form a visual narration of the International Orchestra Conducting Competition “Arturo Toscanini”.
Through her delicate and strongly evocative illustrations, the artist captured the essence of the path experienced by the contestants in the two weeks of the workshop (May 2021), portraying its atmosphere and catching its suggestions from an original perspective.

Lorenza Natarella
Lorenza Natarella is a renown illustrator, author and graphic designer. She is known in the world of Opera for her work Sempre libera, a graphic novel about Maria Callas (BAO Publishing, 2017).
She works with many institutions such as “La Stampa”, “Vanity Fair”, “Salani, De Agostini Scuola, “La Gazzetta dello Sport”, Linus, Pearson, “Donna Moderna”, as a creator of pictures, projects, editing and education.
